Our partner for wool - Lavalan
The virgin wool senscommon sources for its padded products comes from - a family business founded in South Germany about a century ago. They have perfected their craft of growing premium quality wool exclusively from European sheep that graze in the idyllic surroundings of the Austrian, French and Swiss Alps.
It is crucial for our partner Lavalan that no sheep are tortured, neither during breeding nor during the shearing process, which means all wool padding we obtain from them is certified -free.
Just like senscommon, Lavalan believes that the best technology comes from nature itself. Maintaining the premium quality wool manufacturing in Europe is, thus, a goal for both of us.
